What Can I Expect at TurningPoint

Whether you've come by word-of-mouth or just driving by, what’s really cool is that you got here! At TurningPoint, people from all walks of life are finding a place to be, a place to become and a place to belong. Why? Because TPC is a safe and sane environment. TPC’s not perfect, but we do try to keep it real and authentic. Come to TPC, relax and enjoy yourself. (Yes, enjoy – that’s not a sin!) We hope you will find that this is the right place to connect or reconnect with God.

At TurningPoint, you'll find Christ-followers and others who are on a journey of discovery. Our beliefs are in harmony with the 2,000-year record of Christ and His life. We think the Bible rocks and we teach the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

So, the first thing to do is come, enjoy some coffee, act like you own the place, and check us out. At TurningPoint, life just got better.

Other Questions You May Have
  • What kind of music do you sing?

    Open or Close
At TurningPoint, we are very fortunate to have several talented worship bands who vary in their style of music. But generally, our music would be considered "contemporary" and most Sundays we have a full band complete with electric, bass and acoustic guitars as well as drums. Music has always been a vital part of the TurningPoint worship service as it is our way to vocally sing praises and worship our Lord. We do sometimes post our upcoming worship songs on our Facebook page so be sure to check them out there. We do sing a lot of David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Tenth Avenue North, Passion and many other artist's songs.
  • How long are your services?

    Open or Close
Our services last about an hour and 10 minutes. We do have an informal time together before service to chat, eat some goodies and drink coffee 15 minutes before our service time so please join us.
  • What should I wear?

    Open or Close
There's definitely not a dress code here at TurningPoint. All we ask is that you do wear something! Don't let your wardrobe hold you back from coming. We are very relaxed around here and we make a point of emphasizing that God is all about looking at your insides and not your outer appearance.
  • What about my kids?

    Open or Close
We love kids! When you arrive, be sure to ask one of our greeters where your children's classes are located downstairs. Our 2nd-5th graders join us in the sanctuary during our worship time and then leave together for their class after the singing is done. Safety is important to us. We have a check-in and check-out procedure for our younger children downstairs so be sure to take your children downstairs before the service starts.

Our middle school and sr. high students meet every other Sunday. Ask at the kiosk or ask one of our greeters if you want to know which Sundays the youth group meet after worship.
  • Will I be asked to give money?

    Open or Close
As a guest at TurningPoint Community Church, we don't ask nor expect you to give during our offering time. For those of us who do consider TurningPoint our home, we cherish the opportunity to give back to God as an act of worship.

to help people connect with God through the turning points of their lives and lead them to become sincere followers of Jesus.

TPC is a place where you can
belong before belief.
